A new offering in my CSIL's etsy shop, Therese Marie Designs inspired me to create a bedroom design for my cousin's two little girls.
Jesse and I worked together to create a darling nursery for her older daughter and now that there are two girls, the idea of a shared a room down the road seems just right.
Could this pillow be any more adorable?
Custom made with the name and letter of your choice this is the PERFECT baby gift...
or gift for a "little" who's room is getting re-decorated,
or maybe even as a teacher gift - T is for Teacher!
A little vintage fun was what I was after for this room.
After rounding up
a fun DIY wall treatment
a graphic fabric made into shades
and of course the pillow that got the ball rolling
Here is my design plan....
This room feels so happy to me, just the place for sisters to become best friends!!!
Did you share a room as a kid or do your children share a space? Do tell....
Today I am excited to share that Erin at House of Turquoise is featuring some
I love Erin's blog and have become familiar with some of the most inspirational and creative people and businesses through it. What a thrill to share some cyberspace with all of them.
Thank you Erin!

ReplyDeleteLoove that letter pillow from your CSIL, so cute! Maura just got how to finally write her name this week as we were working on signing valentine's for her pre-school, so exciting to watch them grow like that! This girls' room could be my most favorite design plan of yours yet!!! It is perfect...love the yellow stars on the walls and the blue lamps and those floral pillows, all so fun together!!!!
PS. Are you watching the Bachelor with Juan Pablo this season? Thoughts?!! I actually like him a lot more than I thought I would. Who's your favorite girl?
I'm really digging this room design. I love that it doesn't scream frilly but it's so perfect for little girls with all of the vintage touches. It just all works really well together. And need to head over to HofT now to check this out - big high fives my friend! :)
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Erin's blog. Adore your work! Diane

ReplyDeleteCathy I love that board you created! What a happy space! I am the only girl with three older brothers, and my daughter is the only girl with two brothers. I always imagined I would have girls that shared a room. I love the two beds side by side, so sweet!
ReplyDeleteso fun and whimsical. I love all the colors. I never shared a room, but my older sisters did and I loved to go in there- it was so much cooler than my space (being 10 years younger). Have a great weekend. xo Nancy
