Even the adults found the experience to be memorable and fun, who wouldn't? What can be more relaxing than to float down a scenic river with wonderful friends (and a few coolers,) to get out at the sand bars for some swimming and snacking and to end the day at dusk with happy kids catapulting one another into the deep river? I can't think of too many better things...thanks friends!
In other news...I am very excited about a kitchen I am working on at the moment..... here are a couple of before photos, (taken when I was doing a final measure and demo had begun, so don't mind the mess) which include the existing Dining Room as that is part of the project. I'll share more on this over the next few weeks as things start to come together, but suffice it to say, I told my husband that this is a kitchen I will have "kitchen envy" over!
How was your week-end? Any fun adventures or new projects? I would love to hear!
Does your room need a “prescription” for a change of decor, function or design? If so please contact me, I would love to help your room feel better with a Design Concept Board or a complete Room Rx.
That does look like the perfect weekend, what a blast!!! There are few things more relaxing than floating down a river...(c: And wow, I'm glad they got in touch with you to help them with their kitchen, I can't wait to see how it turns out!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! We love tubing and do it often on the New River. The Wisconsin River is beautiful in your photo.

ReplyDeleteThat looks so fun! It reminds me of when I used to tube on the Apple River (also in Wisconsin). Can't wait to see what you do with that kitchen!
