A surprise landed on my doorstep the other day in the form of several new fabric books from Kravet for my fabric library. Since I have been in the process of updating my office, organizing and being judicious about the fabrics I house has been a priority. After looking through the new books, I can tell you that hands down, one of my new favorites is the collection from Windsor Smith. Smith is a talented designer whose style exudes classic details with a fresh edge and her interiors have been featured both in shelter magazines as well as all around the web.
Likely you have seen this pattern before, Riad is a large scale (9" repeat) linen with a printed trellis pattern that is perfect for mixing and layering in a room. Available in 10 colorways, this fabric is a new classic.
Another large scale printed linen, this one with a 13.5" repeat, Xu Garden has a more geometric feel and comes in 5 colors.

Some other favorites from this collection....
Andalusia is a workhorse upholstery weight fabric. The two color pattern allows it to give a fresh look to any piece of furniture.

A bold stripe (each is 2.25" wide), Cap Deluca is sophisticated but fun and comes in 7 colors.

Hard to tell from the photo, but this is a lovely, textural linen. How gorgeous for window treatments or bed linens?

Does your room need a “prescription” for a change of decor, function or design? If so please contact me, I would love to help your room feel better with a Room Rx.
