New Routines.....

Seems that everything comes to a critical point at the same moment around here...despite the fact that my kids are back at school, I feel like I can barely come up for air as we adjust to the new routines and all that goes with them. Last night I was busy making text book-covers (yes the old fashioned way, with brown paper bags) for my boys and signing permission slips when I had hoped to be working...! Please bear with me over the next week or so while I "get it together," so to speak.  My posts may not be long or in depth, or even every day, but I will still be here.  Ahhh, feels good to get that off my chest!

Today, a quick share of a before and after on a recent project of mine for a local couple.... more  later on this project, but I am pleased to say that we were able to give this Living Room a new look and did not have to throw the "baby out with the bathwater." We worked with the existing sofa and side chairs to create a lovely new look.....

Does it take you a week or two or three to adjust to new routines?!

Does your room need a “prescription” for a change of decor, function or design
If so please contact me, I would love to help your room feel better with a Design Concept Board or a complete Room Rx.

  1. Love what I'm seeing with this sneak peek Cathy - the rug, the lamp, pillows - looks great. And yes, getting back into the swing of things here too - so funny how we all thrive on routine.

  2. I am the WORST at switching routines ... it throws me for a loop for weeks. And, I love the little peek you shared ... can't wait to see more!

  3. Yes, I feel like I can barely keep my head above water now that 2 out of 3 kids are back to school. That room has so much potential. The curved windows are beautiful!
