Fresh Fabrics Friday: Studio Bon Textiles

Today's fabrics hail from a line of personally designed, hand printed textiles developed by artist/designer Bonnee Sharp, for Studio Bon. The silk screened patterns are beautiful in their simplicity and graphic punch, adding the perfect bit of zip to a staid antique or traditional room, but equally comfortable on a modern piece or in a more contemporary setting.

The "made in the USA" fabrics are custom printed on luxurious linens and cottons, to order by a 72 year old East coast firm with trained craftsmen, masters of the art of silk screening. In light of the fact that Studio Bon's fabrics are created on demand, each pattern is available in a variety of colors and customization is possible with a minimum order of 25 yards.

Let's get to the good stuff, shall we? Here are a few of my favorites...

Sally, an  explosion of bold bursts and fine lines.

How gorgeous on a traditional chair?

Wired, inspired by everyday life,

sweet as can be in a nursery.

The repeating fine lines of Richter,

perfect in the form of a modern quilt.

The name says it all and it speaks to my love of polka dots.

Fabulous as draperies, no?!

Well it's Friday, again, yippe!  I have a busy weekend ahead, a UW football game, an a cappella show, dinner and a concert with friends and some family time.  What about you? Whatever it is, enjoy and I'll see you back here on Monday!

Does your room need a “prescription” for a change of decor, function or design? If so please contact me, I would love to help your room feel better with a Room Rx

  1. Fabulous all around! This is a tough one, I love Sally on the chair but I also think the Wired on the crib bumper is really sweet too. I've seen these so now it's great to know more about them - will have to check them out. Have a great weekend Cathy!

  3. Thanks for sharing the source, I agree, stunning! The chair in 'Sally' is gorgeous! I'm working on a preteen boy's room and I think 'Bang' would be the perfect mix of cool & stylish!
