Color of the Moment: Sherwin Williams' Chip-it

Happy Valentines Day!
Have you heard about this amazing new tool from Sherwin Williams called Chip It!? Well, prepared to be delighted as it is a super fun color tool. I love that it pulls color from the Sherwin Williams paint deck (over 1000 colors) to match whatever photo you select, making it simple and easy to create a color palette from your inspiration.
Once you create your palette, you can save it on the site in the "Chip Books" you create. You can also share on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest with the click of a button.

There is an "algorithm" in the program that picks the most predominant colors in the photo, so the first look you get has only 5 colors, like below...

Should that not be enough, you can expand to additional colors with the click of a button, like so...

This is brilliant and fun, and seriously, do I need one more place to go in the world wide web that will suck up my time?! Absolutely not, but this tool makes choosing colors that much easier,  I can definitely see that I will be spending some time using it.  Want to know more about Sherwin Williams' Chip It? Go here, there is a short, helpful video and everything you need to know to get started.

For today, enjoy some time with your sweeties and consider my telling you about Chip it! my little Valentines gift to you....
And don't be mad at me because you spend to much time there....!

Does your room need a “prescription” for a change of decor, function or design If so please contact me, I would love to help your room feel better with a Design Concept Board or a complete Room Rx.
