Color of the Moment: citron & teal

Bold, vibrant and happy, citron and teal can light up a room. Bright, acid yellows have been popular paired with gray and now look fresh with teals and blues. Tangerine Tango may be the Color of the Year, but these colors are all over the marketplace, just check out this round up at West Elm.

LOVE this room! The neutral base, the vintage map , gorgeous patterned pillows and vibrant glass makes for an eclectic look that would be easily updated and changed down the road.

What colors are catching your fancy these days?  Let me know and I'll whip up a "Color of the Moment"  post and board.

Does your room need a “prescription” for a change of decor, function or design If so please contact me, I would love to help your room feel better with a Design Concept Board or a complete Room Rx.

  1. Love your color posts, Cathy, everytime you post one, it's my new favorite combination! Love that tray and I'm going to go check out my maps!

  2. I've got a thing for glassware, so I'm quite smitten with your photo and the glassware on your board. I love these colors and a lot of these accessories would be great paired with the Chiang Mai that I blogged about today too! We must have been reading each other's minds! I'd love to see neutral boards as I haven't done many of those and how you layer in texture and pattern (I gravitate toward color in case you haven't noticed!).

  3. This is hands down my favorite color combination. Funny that I don't have more of it in my home though!
