February reaching its close
Winter beginning to wane
Days getting longer
Light shimmering off the frozen ground
slowly waking the Earth's gray color
So rich and beautiful these shades of gray, from undertones of blues to browns, there is such a range of color. Wouldn't this make a perfect foundation for a room? So easily brightened with the addition of colorful accessories...
How did you like my little foray into poetry writing?!!! I am really putting myself out there today, must have been the inspiration out my window at 6 AM this morning... or may it was just the coffee!
Does your room need a “prescription” for a change of decor, function or design? If so please contact me, I would love to help your room feel better with a Design Concept Board or a complete Room Rx.

I was thinking how poetic that first paragraph was - you're good girl! In my last blog workshop we wrote 15 word story - it was a neat exercise. I love that pile of linens and the image of pebbles. This is the antithesis of my home but I would love to have such a calming, pretty, serene color palette in a home someday.
I was wondering, I knew you would credit the author! You're good!
This could be my all-time favorite combination that you've created! Beautifully done!
I love your poem! You should write a poem for each color post :). This color combo is gorgeous ... all the grays work so perfectly together and are so calming.
Greys are comforting even in winter. I have been rediscovering all shades of the color. great pictures here Cathy. I like the soft furnishings you have and that amazing piece of art.
Who knew inspiration could strike at 6am?? Great poem and gotta love gray! It plays so well with others doesn't it!
Lol. Beautiful poem, Cathy :)
I love that gray is the new taupe. It is such a clean and crisp color.
