"Chonny" and the MOAC (Mother Of All Cabinets)
John "modeling" a yet to be finished, mudroom locker
John has built:
A cottage style bathroom vanity.
A similar vanity in maple.
A corner built-in TV cabinet.
The MOAC, an audio/visual/game/toy and you name it, storage cabinet.
Two artisan kitchen storage cabinets.
Office built-ins.
A mantle shelf.
The pergola in my Chicago back yard.
Initially, John did his woodworking as a hobby, building pieces for himself as well as always giving wonderful gifts to his family and friends. The first time I had him do a piece for me, the designer in me created a very detailed drawing, complete with various elevations and specific measurements. John admitted to me much later that while he initially looked upon those drawings as overkill, he now really likes to work from them because everything is spelled out. We have partnered on quite a few projects over the years with great success. But just as easily, with a few basic bits of info, some inspiration photos and measurements, John can create just the piece you are looking for.
Now, as he has found his true calling, John uses his talent for carpentry for a living, so if you live in the Chicago metro area or within a 2-3 hour drive, and you need a piece of furniture or a cabinet(s) for your home, John is your man. Contact me by leaving a comment or dropping me an email and I can put you in touch with John to discuss your custom furniture or cabinet needs. Oh and if you need a detailed drawing, complete with elevations and measurements, let me know, that's right up my alley!
Does your room need a “prescription” for a change of decor, function or design?
If so please contact me, I would love to help your room feel better!
