Admittedly, I am rather pleased with the results....
I apologize that there are no tutorials here, if only I were a better blogger and focused more on the how tos than the end result....! I did share some fabric tutorials in my previous post about this wedding project and lucky for you, Emily over at Jones Design Company has a couple of fabric flower tutorials on her blog this week. For my project, I simply experimented. I made a variety of different blooms in the wedding color pallet, added in some altered, store bought berries and flowers and built up the bouquet until I was satisfied.
A variety of fabrics were used, adding to the overall texture. I love how the silk dupioni has a frayed look and the polyester materials allowed me to singe the edges.
Jesse received the bouquet last week and was pretty darned excited. This has been a wonderful way for me to be a part of her big day and I can't wait to see how that day unfolds in a couple of weeks. I am sure it will be beautiful.
Tomorrow is my first ever "Fresh Fabrics Friday" link up party and I want to hear from you! Here's what you do to join the party:
1. Create a post about anything to do with fabric, from a favorite fabric resource or fabric pattern to a project you have completed using fabric. Include your sources and link back to Room Rx so others can come over and look or join the party.
2. Follow the directions given by the Linky tool on tomorrow's post and add your post, giving it a name (ie - Cathy's Fabric Flowers).
3. Then add the link to your SPECIFIC "Fresh Fabrics Friday" POST, not your general blog address.

Thanks so much for joining my party, I look forward to seeing all of your wonderful fabric finds and projects!
