The coral of last week's
Color of the Moment post had me going on pink. Today that has morphed into a salmon pink which feels not to sweet, but just right when grounded by nature with greens and "taupey grays."
This color is not for the faint of heart, but weathered woods, a neutral sofa, a pale taupe wall color and just the right amount of green make it comfortable and not overpowering. The bold rug and salmon colored table and chair allow the pink center stage but not the whole show. I picture this living room finished with beautiful linen draperies banded with the green trellis fabric and hung high around the windows on weathered wood hardware.
I don't know about you, but my hubby and kids would never go for this color palette (well maybe my daughter would...), but a girl can dream can't she?
Does your room need a “prescription” for a change of decor, function or design?

Gorgeous room. I love gray and pink together. It is so soft and elegant. I agree though, I don't think there is any way my hubs would agree to live with that much pink!
Oh gosh...I really LOVE that board. The rug is my fav but I just love the color scheme. Good one!
