You may remember my post on this family room from a couple of weeks back, well I just picked up the pillows from my seamstress and all I can say is "WOW!!!" I love how they turned out... the fabric is perfect and the details spot on. You gotta love a talented seamstress...
The Ballard Design tufted storage ottoman that we had done in a COM fabric arrived as well, my photo doesn't do it justice, but trust me, it is just gorgeous! I highly recommend this piece, it is well made, sturdy and completely functional. And yes, that is the same sofa as in the before photos, reupholstered and looking brand new....
This room is nearing the finish line, we are waiting on some additional pieces from the upholsterer as well as a few accessories and then I'll share the finished product.
What does your week-end hold? I need to do some major house cleaning/tidying as Saturday is the TWERP (girls ask the boys) dance and my oldest and his gang will be doing photos here. Last night he asked me if I planned to "pull the family room together" before the photos. I believe he was referring to the newspaper templates all over the floor for the gallery wall I am working on as well as the various fabric samples draped all over for the new pillows I want to add....? Perhaps that is just the impetus I need to get stuff done in there, do you think I can finish before tomorrow???!!!

I love those pillows. The detailing is really beautiful with the contrast welt. My weekend? Fun, fun, fun..the entire family will be home for 3 days complaining endlessly about the noise I am making while working on the entry hall. None of them will offer to help, hopefully.

I can tell I'm not the only one that feels like Christmas morning when I pick up pillows! :) Gorgeous!! Your son...hilarious, I'd be stashing it everywhere last minute! Have fun!

HA! I guess I should enjoy Sheila just being my "assistant" for the time being before she starts making requests ;) Sounds like a fun weekend though and a fun dance for the kids. You had me at pillows my friend :) they look great. Somehow our home took on a blue, green, red palette and I'm really loving it as I am what you've done with this project. Have a great one - get cleaning! :)

Custom pillows make me dance a happy dance. It sounds like you did a "happy dance" too. I am waiting for fabric to send to my workroom.
