A Guest Post - More budget friendly lighting

Happy Spring!
Despite the fact that it is still quite cold here in the Midwest with highs of 39-43 degrees, the fact that the sun is shining and the snow is melting are a sure signs that the season is underway, finally!
We had a quiet but relaxing break last week, so this week I am busy catching up. Posting here on Room Rx will be light, but today I have a special treat, a guest post from Mari at Arcadian Home highlighting some great looking, cost conscious lighting options.
Take it away Mari.....

Hi, everyone! It's Mari here from Arcadian Home blog, a wonderful place to discover lots of interior design inspiration including great lighting ideas from eye-catching mini pendant lights to glamorous bedroom lamps. I'm so happy to be visiting with you here at Room Rx with a guest post about beautiful lights that don't take your last design dollar. Cathy has been doing a great series on lighting that won't break the budget, so I wanted to contribute to that series. I've brought along 12 images that are a mix of interior spaces with beautiful lights and lighting options that could help you bring to life similar rooms in a budget-friendly way. Please enjoy!

  Beautiful Light
A small eclectic living room is given a dramatic look with an oversized drum pendant light in brown. Adding a bit of fun to the space is a zebra sitting beside the low sofa.

Beautiful Light
The Adesso Timpani Transitional Pendant Light is a beautiful drum pendant light coming in at a large 14 inches high by 28 inches wide. It just might work well for you in a room similar to the one shown in the first image.

  Beautiful Light
A trio of sparkling modern pendant lights dances above a long glass top table in this light-filled pure white dining spaceóso beautiful and the view is stunning.
Beautiful Light
Though somewhat more understated than the lights in the room shown above, the Maxim Lighting Loft Traditional 5-Light Chandelier could work beautifully to create the appealing look of that dining room. A few clear glass drops could be hung discreetly from the lights to add a bit more sparkle.

Beautiful Light
A contemporary bath combines the classic look of marble with sleek white cabinetry and slender wall sconces from Waterworks.
Beautiful Light
There are lots of contemporary bathroom lighting fixtures out there right now, but a pair of these wall sconces, Access Lighting's Aqueous, seems the perfect choice to recreate the sleek look of the ones shown in the lovely bath above.

Beautiful Light
An antique French chandelier hangs in the closet of the same New Orleans home as the bath seen above. What a wonderful way to dress up a closet or dressing room!

Beautiful Light
Though we may have visions of closets with French chandeliers, most of our budgets will not allow for them. To recreate the illusion of such a fine lighting fixture, this AF Lighting Parlor Traditional Chandelier just might work well on a smaller scale.

  Beautiful Light
Swing arm wall lamps flank the bed atop deep purple upholstered wall in the master bedroom of a Manhattan apartment. Pattern, texture and color are perfectly integrated into this chic space.
Beautiful Light
Though slightly more traditional than the lamp in the bedroom above, this Cal Lighting Double Arm Transitional Swing Arm Wall Sconce would work well to recreate the look of that bedroom on a budget. This little lamp is available in different finishes and shades.

Beautiful Light
A dark and handsome study is nicely lit by a lovely Mid-Century pendant and silvery circular lamp on the desk. The watery color palette is slightly masculine and moodyówonderful hues.
Beautiful Light
This Kenroy Oke Transitional Table Lamp has a must thinner metal base than the lamp in the study above, but still has that same appealing circular shape. It just might be a lovely budget-friendly alternative.  What do you think of these lighting inspirations? Thanks for the beautiful inspiration Mari.
I love how you found a lamp or light to mimic the look in each of the high end designs you chose and all are budget friendly.

Friends, which is your favorite?
Mine might just be the series of 3 five light chandeliers over the dining table, love the look!

Have a great week!
