Cupcakes

They seem to be all the rage these days, in Madison, we have a couple of specialized bakeries, like the Daisy Cafe and Cupcakery, devoted to making a wide assortment of gourmet cupcakes.  My cousin is having cupcakes in the starring role for the dessert table at her upcoming wedding and that got me thinking about the fun ways of decorating and displaying them....

There seem to be an infinite number of ways to make the dessert table, complete with cupcakes, a tempting and delightful feature at a party or wedding.  One is probably only limited by time and budget.  Speaking of budget, I found instructions to make your own cupcake display stands here and  here. I can only imaging what other DIY tutorials there are out there on this subject....
