Don't you just love a simple Roman Shade? Look at what an enormous difference the shade (among a few other things) makes in the bay window in this dining room....
Robert Allen's embroidered linen, United Vines, is the fabric we used and I love the classic, timeless look it gives to this shade.
Thanks to my terrific workroom for fabricating and installing these lovelies along with a few other goodies for this project. Like the sunroom in this home, which I shared the other day, we are in the "finishing touches" phase in the dining room. Artwork is on order and the host and hostess chairs are a work in progress, but we'll get 'er done!
Enjoy the week-end ahead and celebrate the fathers in your life!

We have a couple of tricky bay windows in our house. I can't do a roman on them because the top section is the most beautiful leaded glass. Unfortunately, we need some curtains for privacy.
Right now, they have old lacy curtains on them from the previous owner - cafe style. I'm not sure what we're going to do with them! Any suggestions?

I love this. I went back and looked at the before pictures and your beautiful room plan! It looks phenomenal, they have got to be sooooooo happy! What a great transformation.
Happy weekend.

Beautiful! I think a roman shade is my favorite window treatment. Great work!
I have a couple of bay windows that could use your touch! And, you'll get to see them in person, yipee!!
The shades frame the windows perfectly. Great job, Cathy!
That shade looks perfect with the wall color and brings in the outdoors. I love a roman shade.
I do love roman shades. They are simple in shape and form but still soften the window. The sunroom is looking so good, Cathy!
It is all coming together - that is a great fabric that was chosen for the shades. The shades really add a lot to that window - softness, shape, pattern. Thanks for the preview on this room - looking forward to seeing it all together.
We love how you have matched the wall colour to the accents in the fabric. It looks so pretty!
